| Bedrock Meadow's Fainting Goats We have been a member of the IFGA since 1998 and our herd has been Scraple Certified since 2005. Our goats are medium to small size and we have pure long coated fainters also registered as "Miniature Silky Fainting Goats". Fainters (Myotonics) that trace back to the early 1800's. A farm worker appeared in Tennessee with four goats that fainted. The man never said where he got his goats, but Dr. Mayberry of Marshall County bought the goats. He propagated them and found that they will show varying degrees of Myotonic. This gene does not hurt the goat in any way it only affects the external muscles.
